North Shore Medical Imaging

NDY Contracting recently completed the North Shore Medical Imaging project, a specialized commercial improvement located in Squamish, BC. Delivered through a design-build construction management model in collaboration with Stark Architecture, the project transformed the client’s space to meet the complex requirements of medical imaging professionals while enhancing the patient experience.

The scope included installation of medical trade fixtures and specialized imaging equipment, with a focus on technical precision. The client-owned building underwent frontage and envelope upgrades to improve curb appeal and long-term durability. Several zoned mechanical systems were implemented to maintain optimal environmental conditions, and building controls were integrated across multiple locations to support seamless operations.

Patient confidentiality remained a top priority throughout. The design featured carefully planned circulation paths and material selections to ensure privacy, while the layout supported employee workflow and ergonomics with strategic room and equipment placement to improve operational efficiency and staff comfort.

NDY worked closely with the client to assess the performance of their existing facilities, retaining what worked and resolving key pain points through thoughtful design and construction. This project reflects NDY’s ability to manage technically complex medical commercial construction, delivering tailored solutions that prioritize function, care, and operational excellence.
