Tantalus Squamish Affordable Housing

Client Squamish Community Housing Society Type Multi-Family Deep Energy Retrofit Year 2026

NDY Contracting is partnering with the Squamish Community Housing Society and Hiy̓ám̓ Housing to deliver the Tantalus Deep Energy Retrofit project in Squamish.

NDY will direct the deep energy retrofit of existing affordable housing units, supporting long-term building performance, energy efficiency, and resident comfort. The project focuses on extending the lifecycle of the buildings while reducing operational costs and environmental impact.

The Squamish Community Housing Society and Hiy̓ám̓ Housing are committed to providing safe, affordable housing for the Squamish community. This retrofit project supports their shared goal of improving housing quality while maintaining long-term affordability for residents.

Construction is scheduled to commence in 2026. NDY is proud to support this important initiative and looks forward to contributing to the continued strength and sustainability of affordable housing in Squamish.
